Finally, still some days short of the New Year, we pledge a New Year’s resolution: We will strive in 2010 to avoid blaming all of footy’s ills on the Great Satan (Jeff Gieschen).

If you stop blaming everything on Gieschen, what will you write about? Knights taking Essendon down into the dumps like the Tigers?
G'day Jermayn. Even without the Giesch, Vlad and Ando can easily fulfil any reasonable conspiracy theorist’s needs.
I confess I was a non-believer when Knights was appointed, but I have seen the light! Amen! You could hardly find an atmosphere more different from the Frawley and Wallace Richmond than the Dons are now. I'm pretty comfortable with the way Knights is tackling the task for the moment.
